Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receipt and Inspection: Use purchase orders to verify invoice accuracy and reconcile stock quantities to ensure no discrepancies exist.
  2. Discrepancy Resolution: Communicate with buyers regarding any issues found during inspection and determine if stock can be accepted or rejected.
  3. Housekeeping and Returns: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area and prepare returns for timely shipment to suppliers.
  4. Inventory Accuracy: Utilize Arch Mobile Scanners to scan stock and verify barcodes to ensure accurate quantities received.
  5. Return Processing: Ensure timely return of items to suppliers in correct quantities.
Requirements
  • FMCg and Fresh Produce Experience: Previous experience in receiving duties for FMCG and fresh produce products is required.
  • Criminal Record Clearance: A clear criminal record is essential for this position.
  • Matric NSC Pass: A matric certificate must be provided to be considered for the role.
  • Driving Licenses: Possession of a BT and/or Forklift license is preferred, but not mandatory.
