Nexio is seeking a highly motivated Health, Safety, and Environment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe workplace environment without risk to health.
You will ensure that all Health & Safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to and regularly reviewed, updated, and communicated. Your duties will include coordinating the development of health & safety policies, systems of work, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile, maintain, and close all project HSE files.
- Manage health and safety workplace legal requirements, including legal appointments.
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
- Conduct regular health and safety audits at client sites.
- Maintain project health and safety files and update them as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards, including ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (preferable NEBOSH IDIP).
- Experience in compiling health and safety files (Gate 1 and Gate 2 files).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, verbal & written skills.
- The ability to work in a changing environment.
- Problem-solving & analysis skills.
