This Senior Server Engineer job involves a range of technical responsibilities, including maintaining software, hardware, and systems on a Windows server, installing and monitoring Windows operating systems, resolving user issues, addressing management requests, and implementing security measures.

  • Patching over 1000 servers
  • Managing application patches for over 1000 servers
  • Implementing desktop security patches for +/- 1000 end points
  • Creating and maintaining patch schedules
  • Ensuring centralized server license solutions are implemented and maintained
  • Implementing and maintaining centralized RDP authentication
  • Maintaining N-1 for Server OS's to assist with certification
  • Migrating and cloning servers
  • Building new servers, including domain registrations and patching
  • Maintaining relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Low-Level Designs
  • Maintaining System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for patching and creating roll-out packages of applications
  • Maintaining System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) for real-time infrastructure events
  • Handling service requests and incidents
  • Maintaining and exceling in an IT environment managing 2000+ end points

This is an ideal opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
