Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Patient-centred consultations across all ages in the clinic.

  • Identify patient's needs and problems with effective listening.
  • Perform accurate and relevant physical examinations.
  • Ensure continuity of care by deciding on follow-up and review plans.

  • Apply basic ethical principles.
  • Comply with statutory and professional obligations.
  • Demonstrate appropriate and sensitive attitudes to patients, families, communities, and colleagues.
  • Reflect all relevant information in patient records and medico-legal forms accurately and legibly.
  • Accurately complete patient statistics.
  • Prescribe appropriate medication within scope of practice.
  • Facilitate communication and provide basic counselling.
  • Integrate understanding of family, community, and health system into clinic operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to the clinical staff at the clinic, ensuring compliance with clinical protocols and guidelines.
