  • Research and interpret complex tax issues, providing sound recommendations and guidance to clients
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-up
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and practices, ensuring clients receive the latest advice and guidance
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in tax consulting or compliance, including 2-3 years of unsupervised work
  • Tax Practitioner License or eligibility
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or similar) is highly desirable
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including income tax, withholding tax, and other core relevant tax matters
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of SARS processes and protocols
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in handling tax objections and related processes
