Job Description

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at Farm Manager SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting.
  • At least 2-3 years' experience as an accountant.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in computer skills, specifically Pastel software.
  • Good team player.
