Job Summary:
The Corporate Paralegal will provide administrative and research support services to the Legal Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Business Administration: Organize and schedule meetings and appointments for the Legal Team, ensuring alignment with the Project Support Coordinator.
- Meeting Preparation: Prepare meeting/board packs, take minutes in meetings, and send them to relevant stakeholders, scheduling follow-up meetings as necessary.
- Company Filings: Attend to company filings and changes with registration offices.
- Schedule Management: Manage and harmonize the Legal Team's schedule.
- Communication: Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Filing System: Organize and manage the internal filing system.
- Document Management: Maintain the document/contract management system.
- Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative work required by the Legal Team, coordinate travel engagements, and be available for ad-hoc projects/tasks.
- Management Reports: Prepare reports/presentations for management.
- Compliance Monitoring: Coordinate and facilitate the Legal Team's reporting requirements, assist with ongoing compliance monitoring, and stay up-to-date with legislation changes and industry trends.
- Template Documents: Utilize template legal documents (NDAs, reviews) and update templates when required.
- Agreement Safekeeping: Ensure the controlled safekeeping of all signed original agreements.
- Project Management: Assist the Group Legal team in managing and coordinating projects led by the team.
- Project Planning: Prepare project plans and facilitate engagement with key stakeholders.
- Project Tracking: Effectively track and monitor project milestones and timelines.
- Project Updates: Prepare project updates and reports.
