Job Summary

We are seeking a Workplace Conflict Resolution Manager to manage and coordinate all employee relations management requirements. This role reports directly to the Employee Relations & Compliance Executive and is physically located within the WC region.

Responsibilities
  1. Act as the liaison between senior management and employees regarding HR and ER related matters
  2. Provide employee relations guidance and advice on company rules, regulations, and procedures
  3. Facilitate disciplinary actions, including drafting charges and coordinating hearings
  4. Serve as the first point of contact for ER process and policy queries and/or issues
  5. Manage employee cases, including discipline, poor performance, grievances, and sick leave
  6. Represent the employer at CCMA conciliations, arbitrations, and in-house hearings
  7. Prepare pleadings, oppositions, and other documents
  8. Develop and conduct employee relations training material
  9. Write newsletters on HR and ER topics
  10. Ensure adherence to substantive and procedural fairness and compliance with HR and ER standard operating procedures
  11. Compile and report on employee relations activity
  12. Perform adhoc tasks assigned by senior management
Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of LRA, BCEA, BBBEE, EE, CCMA Rules, and sectoral determinations
  • Strong ER experience in unionized environments, managing organizational rights, wage negotiations, and collective agreements
  • Bachelor's Degree in HRM/Industrial Relations or LLB
  • 3-5 years' experience in distribution, FMCG manufacturing, road freight, logistics, and supply chain fields
  • Excellent analytical abilities and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle
