Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the highest standards of quality control, customer satisfaction, and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Developing and implementing quality control measures, investigating customer complaints, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products and materials.
  • Conducting regular audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to enhance our quality control processes.
  • Collaborating with the quality assurance manager to ensure compliance with BRCGS standards and regulations, achieving certification and continuous improvement.
  • Developing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Training and guiding staff members on quality control procedures, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining high standards.
  • Staying current with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to improve our quality control processes.
Requirements
  • Grade 12, tertiary qualification; minimum diploma in packaging, food safety, quality or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport for traveling to clients and branches.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the wine industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
