Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Technician to join our team at SITECH SA. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for managing all field implementations to deliver products/solutions to customers' satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring final, implemented product/solution is sufficiently tested and implementation is signed off by the customer, and provide documented implementation tests
  • Coordinating and working with relevant internal individuals/teams to ensure successful implementations

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Maintenance background with millwright qualification (NQF 4)
  • Minimum of 3 years proven product/solution implementation and field service/support experience
  • Experience in the Geospatial industry will be an advantage
  • An advanced knowledge of OPTRON Group technologies and solutions will be an advantage
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, test and service technical equipment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & non-verbal) to provide technical help
