About the Role:

  • Project Support: Assist with the development, implementation, and sustainment of production processes for effective operations, ensuring efficient engineering processes and project implementation to maintain quality manufacturing.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure machine reliability to meet operational standards, minimize scrap waste, and optimize equipment usage per company policies and the OHS Act.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage technical supplies and equipment inventory, procuring necessary materials and equipment as required.
  • Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain cleanliness and order in assigned work areas, and report safety hazards, incidents, and near misses.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience: 2-5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and fault-finding abilities, effective communication and decision-making skills, high emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, project management and software proficiency, attention to detail and ability to work independently
