About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Creative Director to join our team at Flash. As a key member of our creative department, you will be responsible for leading the development of our digital creative assets, including web and social media content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and Develop Digital Content: Design and develop engaging digital content for web and social media platforms, including animation, motion graphics, and video editing.
  • Lead Creative Conceptualizing: Develop and implement creative concepts for all branded communications, including static design and moving image.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal stakeholders to plan, troubleshoot, and prioritize creative output.
  • Manage Creative Teams: Lead and manage a team of creatives, working with designers and writers to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns from start to finish.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies.
Leadership Performance Areas
  • Coaching and Feedback: Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members throughout the year.
  • Performance Management: On-time completion of performance management activities, including regular 1:1s and bi-annual performance reviews.
  • Employee Development: Support employee development, including facilitation of career development conversations and crafting development plans.
  • Change Management: Proactively manage change initiatives within the team, including planning, preparation, and communication.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in Art Direction or related fields.
  • Experience: 8+ years' experience in digital design and art direction, agency experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and within a team environment.
