Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Planning and Governance at ATNS SOC Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our technology and information governance framework, ensuring that our systems and processes are aligned with our organizational vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technology and Information Governance
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology and information governance framework that aligns with our organizational vision and strategy.
    • Provide strategic leadership and guidance on the design and implementation of a fit-for-purpose technology and information governance framework and methodology.
  • Planning and Strategy
    • Develop, implement, and manage the unit's planning and governance strategy to contribute to the overall achievement of departmental and organizational strategy.
    • Lead the departmental strategic planning process and ensure that system performance and service level agreements are met.
  • Risk and Compliance
    • Manage and direct the development and implementation of a technology governance model, methodology, policies, and processes, and monitor and oversee its execution across ATNS.
    • Ensure adherence and compliance with regulatory frameworks and standards, including COBIT and ITIL.
  • Leadership and Collaboration
    • Provide leadership and guidance to teams and stakeholders on technology and information governance matters.
    • Facilitate the implementation and management of effective governance structures and processes.
  • Reporting and Compliance
    • Report on key technology planning performance metrics and ensure timely compilation and submission of all required reports.
    • Manage service level agreements with relevant departments to ensure expectations are managed.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a strong background in IT planning and governance, risk, and compliance, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role. A postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, as well as ECSA Professional Registration as an Engineer and ISACA Professional Registration. The candidate should have extensive experience in implementation of relevant governance frameworks, such as COBIT, and a strong understanding of technology audit requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning, monitoring, and tracking competencies, as well as business acumen and the ability to interpret and apply company policies to effectively achieve objectives. They should be able to translate strategic business objectives into systems strategy and have a working knowledge of relevant global and regional plans, standards, and recommended practices.

The candidate should also have experience in driving the delivery of the department's portfolio of projects/programs and be able to manage service level agreements with relevant departments to ensure expectations are managed.
