Reinsurance Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Administrator to join our team in Parktown. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a 'can-do' attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Double-capture all FAC policies on the mainframe/PC system and prepare the reinsurance tool to ensure accurate and complete reinsurance placement.
- Manage risk administered on external systems to achieve, maintain, and grow the overall profitability of the CPM channel.
- Handle escalations and queries regarding Reinsurance policies.
- Identify re-insurance and take appropriate action to ensure risk appetite controls are adhered to.
- Provide quality and correct feedback on high-level technical queries.
- Build networks and relationships with various role players and liaise with them on various levels.
Requirements:
- RE accreditation.
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- FAIS compliance – 60 credits on NQF level 4.
- Minimum of 5 years of Commercial lines experience in a risk management environment.
- Commercial Lines product knowledge on Santam Underwriting practices.
- Understanding of Risk management and the ability to apply risk mitigation.
- Working knowledge of Re-insurance.
