Quality Assurance Advisor Job Description

Hire Resolve is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Advisor to join our client's team in Cape Town. As a leading recruitment agency, we focus on placing quality professionals in reputable organizations, and we pride ourselves on matching the right talent to the right positions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support on quality issues to all areas of the business, including construction delivery, proposals, procurement, and business services.
  • Participate in Supply Chain management processes.
  • Prepare and execute PQPs and PMPs on all Nuclear projects.
  • Incorporate industry standard requirements, such as NQA-1 requirements, into Lesedis IMS.
  • Execute the internal audit program to increase transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency of QM audits and create a business impact.
  • Ensure professional non-conformance (NC) management and reporting of all business units.
  • Drive quality improvement methods and improve process performance management (e.g. 8D, RCA, FMEA).
  • Provide continuous management and support to all projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or equivalent with professional registration.
  • Qualified as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001.
  • Minimum of 7 years in EPC industry as QA Advisor.
  • Experience in RCA methodologies will be advantageous.
  • Track record of training and implementing company strategies successfully.
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance position.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
  • Strategic thinking.
  • Computer Literate (Word, Excel).
  • Computer Systems (IFS, Primavera, MS Projects, Project Management Collaboration Platforms).
