We are seeking a highly skilled Account Director to join our team in Cape Town. As an experienced professional, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions.

Job Description:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal & external stakeholders, clients and our e-commerce team.
  • Create advertising proposals to drive revenue growth and enhance client relationships.
  • Develop campaign cost estimates (CEs) and oversee the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
  • Analyse data trends and provide actionable insights to clients for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with various creative, analytics, and campaign management teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with client objectives.
  • Provide regular performance reports and suggestions for future campaigns.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the experience of advertisers.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, or Media. Alternatively, 6+ years' experience in a digital/advertising account management role in digital marketing, advertising, or a similar environment with a Matric/Diploma.
  • Minimum 5 years Advertising Account Management experience or 3 years Digital Account Management experience.
  • Experience in advertising and media sales.
  • Strong knowledge of the Digital Advertising & e-commerce landscape.

  • Enthusiasm for working in an entrepreneurial, start-up environment.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve sales targets.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and build rapport with clients and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Workspace.
