Position Summary:

The Peer Group Trainer will play a critical role in promoting the AYP Program through community outreach activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating demand for program interventions, enrolling eligible and interested AYPs, and facilitating peer education, dialogues, and recreational services in safe spaces and communities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement community outreach strategies to promote the AYP Program.
  • Conduct door-to-door visits and distribute information materials to create awareness about the program.
  • Collaborate with the Out of School Manager to achieve program goals and objectives.
  • Provide support and guidance to program beneficiaries as needed.

Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Facilitation Skills Training
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and excellent driving capability
