As an iOS Developer at Dimension Data, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications for our clients. This role requires a strong background in Swift programming language, as well as experience with UI/UX principles and tools like Sketch.

Requirements:

  1. Utilize established software engineering practices to plan, design, code, document, test, release, and monitor progress.
  2. Participate in various aspects of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
  3. Research, analyze, design, and create data structures and algorithms that are efficient and accessible.
  4. Test and debug code using Instruments and UI Testing frameworks.
  5. Integrate with backend systems and web services to facilitate complete product functionality.
  6. Update, refactor, and maintain code and applications throughout the life of the project.
  7. Build custom controllers and UIView subclasses to support iOS applications.
  8. Handle the entire life cycle of an app, including software development, testing, bug fixing, and debugging.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience developing software for iOS (Swift) platforms with strong background in Objective C and/or Cocoa development and experience with network protocols such as HTTP, SSL, REST, and/or JSON.
  3. Current iOS developer certification is a plus.
  4. 5 years of experience developing iOS apps, with a focus on development and design using Swift language preferred.
  5. Digital experience.
  6. Insurance (short term or life)/financial service industry is advantageous.
  7. SAFe Methodology - value stream approach.
  8. Custom built solutions (not off the shelf).
  9. Understanding of back-end integration.
  10. Explore new technologies.
