  • Monitor and track against the plan.
  • Develop recommendations and subsequent action plans to enable the delivery of the departmental strategy.
  • Engage in day-to-day interaction with team members to deliver strategy.
  • Build and develop effective relationships with stakeholders to highlight and determine best solutions to overcome challenges.
  • Contribute to delivering strategic plans with suppliers by liaising regularly on trend changes and tactical forecasting.
  • Conduct stock build plans considering capacity, raw materials supply, etc.
  • Understand and optimize supply chain and systems.
  • Ensure internal and external factors impacting demand are reflected in forecasts.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize efficiencies.
  • Track and manage plans, escalating supply shortages as needed.
  • Issue daily plans/schedules for all production units.
  • Resource Shift/Labor planning.
  • Manage space in warehouses in line with plans and manage redundant and obsolete stock.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers.
  • Provide daily/weekly/monthly forecasts with suppliers.
  • Purchase order management and ensure accurate order placement.
  • Manage supplier contracts.
  • Conduct price negotiations with suppliers.
  • Report on materials shortages with root cause and corrective action.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives in line with departmental strategies.
  • Analysis of historical and current performance.
