We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Phase Art Educator to join our team at SPARK Randburg High School. As an integral member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and creating a supportive learning environment for our students.

Job Description:

  • Teaching and Lesson Planning: Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans for senior phase art classes, ensuring that all curriculum requirements are met.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Develop and administer assessments to track student progress and identify areas where additional support is needed.
  • Student Support: Provide individualized support to students who require extra help or guidance.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs and communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Design/Art - Senior & FET Phase - 2025
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a high school context
  • SACE Registration: Possess a valid SACE registration
  • Criminal Record Clearance: Have a clear/clean criminal record

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of R25,500.00 per month, performance-based annual bonuses and increases, above-average annual leave, life, disability, and funeral cover, employee wellness support, educational support, study leave, individualized professional development, mentorship, and employee discounts on school fees.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work from Monday to Friday during school hours. The role is based at SPARK Randburg High School, located in Gauteng, South Africa.
