Social Media Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join our diverse marketing team and take our social media presence to the next level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to improve our online presence and brand awareness.
  • Manage a strategically driven social content calendar and coordinate with our in-house creative production team for effective implementation.
  • Produce creative and original content for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and YouTube.
  • Set up and optimize our company pages within each platform to increase visibility.
  • Join relevant conversations on behalf of the company and provide support to current and prospective customers.
  • Work closely with our customer service team to resolve customer-facing complaints and issues.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of social media marketing campaigns and provide data analysis and metric reporting to our Marketing Manager.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with good multitasking and organizational ability.
