IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Farm Manager SA.

This is a challenging role that requires a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all calls on the helpdesk, managing and supporting desktop technicians, communicating with users and providing in-person support, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, which is critical to the success of our organization. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve technical issues, develop feedback reports on the helpdesk to management, and contribute to the development of our IT strategies.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in IT infrastructure management, with a strong understanding of networking principles and protocols. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving abilities.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will have a strong ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with our team members, users, and external partners.

• Manage all calls on the helpdesk, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues
• Manage and support desktop technicians, including training and coaching as needed
• Communicate with users and provide in-person support, ensuring their technical needs are met
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both independently and collaboratively with other team members
• Develop feedback reports on the helpdesk to management, highlighting trends, successes, and areas for improvement

We offer a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience, ranging from $60,000 to $90,000 per annum. In addition to your base salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
