Job Summary

Rakkgalakane Recruitment is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for evaluating the extent of damage to vehicle bodywork and developing comprehensive work plans for repair jobs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating Damage: Assess the extent of damage to vehicle bodywork, identifying areas that require repair or replacement.
  • Developing Work Plans: Create detailed work plans for repair jobs, outlining the necessary steps and materials required.
  • Repairing Minor Damage: Use a range of tools, including hammers, grinders, and fillers, to repair minor scratches, dents, or corrosion damage.
  • Replacing Damaged Sections: Replace severely damaged sections with new or second-hand parts, ensuring a high-quality finish.
  • Measuring and Aligning: Use specialized equipment to measure and align parts, ensuring they are in the correct position.
Requirements:
  • Experience in automotive body repair and restoration.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle bodywork and repair techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
