This is a full-time on-site role for a **PANEL BEATER AND AUTOMOTIVE WELDER**. We are looking for a dedicated, consistent, and passionate automotive PANEL BEATER AND AUTOMOTIVE WELDER that takes pride in their work, as we at Chicanos pride ourselves on quality and perfection.

You be be required to carry out the following:

- Efficiently strip old paint and coatings.
- Identify any errors in body panels.
- Removing any dents in panels
- Mending and repairing rust work.
- Making assessments of damaged vehicles.
- Ensure thorough preparation of surfaces of subsequent painting.
- Uphold stringent quality control standards.
- Inspect completed work to ensure that it meets/exceeds quality benchmarks.
- Ensure proper alignment and fitting of body parts to meet quality standards.
- Assemble vehicle components and be able to identify gaps on vehicle.
- Welding new or repaired panels into place.
- Finishing the repair in a way that it matches the body surface.
- Have an eye for detail.
- Maintain and clean equipment.
- Be able to manage time efficiently to meet targets set.
- Be able to work well with others.
- be able to evaluate, solve, and report any malfunctions faced at the workplace.
- Be able to work overtime and Saturdays.

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Additional qualifications is a bonus.

Pay: R8 000,00 - R9 500,00 per month

**Experience**:

- Panel beating: 3 years (preferred)
