Senior Regional Sales Director

This role is responsible for managing a team of sales professionals in the Cape Town region. The successful candidate will be required to develop and implement a regional sales plan to achieve annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and direct the performance of the sales team in the region.
- Analyse competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive regional revenue quotas and goals, providing leadership through engaged performance management.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Requirements:
MATRIC / ENGINEERING OR SIMILAR QUALIFICATION IS NOT A NECESSITY BUT WILL BE AN ADVANTAGE.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience and 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong sales background with proven work experience.
Packaging industry experience is an advantage.
Leadership skills and ability to work well in a team.
Well-spoken and presentable.
Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
Valid driver's licence.
Self-motivated and perform without supervision with determination and drive to achieve targets.
Excellent people communication sales and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to be a fast learner.
Willingness to go the extra mile.
Competent computer literacy – Windows MS Word and Excel.
Good organisational and time-management skills.
