Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior FET Phase Educator to join our team as a Blended Learning Facilitator. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving student achievement by maintaining high expectations for classroom culture, behavior, and academic growth for all scholars.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver face-to-face and distance lessons for academic and clubs programs.
- Assist students with computer programs and ensure that educational software meets their needs.
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers and administrators to create personalized learning plans for students.
- Assist with academic support programs and lead intervention sessions.
- Report damages to hardware and fill out incident reports as needed.
- Participate in professional development sessions and develop assessments to track student progress.
- Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections.
- Plan and deliver programs to support low-performing scholars or extend high-performing scholars.
- Participate in place-based education and career and tertiary pathways education.
- Develop SPARK culture and implement behavior management strategies.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, parents, and stakeholders.
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate
- Studying part-time towards a B.Ed Senior/FET phase or PGCE Senior/FET Phase
- Specialization in Mathematics with ability and experience to teach FET specifically
- Clear/Clean criminal record
- English language fluency
- SACE provisional registration
