We are a high growth, mission and values-driven, entrepreneurial organisation, operating 21 primary schools and 5 high schools and serving over 18,000 families. We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver academic and clubs lessons, both in the classroom and online.
- Assist students with computer programs and ensure that educational software meets their needs.
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers and administrators to create personalised learning plans.
- Assist with academic support programs and lead intervention sessions.
- Report damages to hardware and fill out incident reports as needed.
- Participate in professional development sessions.
- Develop and administer assessments to track student progress and analyse data for student growth.
- Submit and analyse scholar data to track progress and intervene when necessary.
- Lead scholar social and emotional development through CQ sessions and reflections.
- Plan and deliver programs to support low performing scholars or extend high performing scholars.
- Participate in place-based education and career and tertiary pathways education.
- Develop SPARK culture and implement behaviour management strategies.
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, parents and stakeholders.
- Nurture a high-achieving work environment where all scholars feel valued and supported.
- Promote the vision and mission of SPARK Schools to staff, scholars, families and the community.
- Implement strategies from the Crisis Management team and adhere to child protection, anti-bullying and health and safety policy.
- Attend Saturday events and parent community meetings.
- Submit student results data when required.
Qualifications and Criteria:
- Grade 12/Matric Certificate
- Studying part-time towards a B.Ed Senior/FET phase or PGCE Senior/FET Phase
- Specialisation in Mathematics with ability and experience to teach FET specifically
- Clear/Clean criminal record
- English language fluency
- SACE provisional registration
