Debtors Administrator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Debtors Administrator to join our team at Intercon Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire debtors process, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely collections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the debtors function, ensuring accurate record-keeping and timely collections.
  • Regularly follow up on outstanding payments, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely receipts.
  • Enter and allocate receipts accurately in the accounting system, ensuring financial records are up-to-date.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints related to billing and payments promptly.
  • Assist in the allocation of Supplier Journal Vouchers (JVs) within the financial system.
  • Process supplier rebates and ensure they are accurately reflected in the accounts.
  • Manage the collection of payments from suppliers and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and provide necessary documentation for Credit Committee meetings.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in debtors administration.
  • At least 2 contactable references, a clear criminal record, and ITC.
