At HR Genie, we are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Management Professional to play a pivotal role in our team. As a seasoned Quantity Surveyor with 3-7 years of experience, you will be responsible for managing construction costs and ensuring projects are completed within budget.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team. As a Construction Cost Management Professional, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of Accurate Bills of Quantities and Cost Estimates: Utilize your expertise to prepare detailed bills of quantities and cost estimates, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Processing and Negotiation of Payments and Final Accounts: Work closely with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to process payments and final accounts, maintaining positive relationships throughout the process.
  • Review and Approval of Subcontractor Quotations and Payments: Review and approve subcontractor quotations and payments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
  • Measurement and Valuation of Variations: Measure and value variations, accurately determining their impact on project costs.
  • Adherence to Project Budgets and Cost Reporting: Maintain strict adherence to project budgets and cost reporting, providing timely and accurate updates to stakeholders.
  • Procurement of Subcontractors and Materials: Procure subcontractors and materials, ensuring optimal quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Regular Site Visits and Progress Meetings: Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings, monitoring project progress and addressing any issues that may arise.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or Related Field: Possess a degree in quantity surveying or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 3-7 Years Experience as a Quantity Surveyor: Bring a minimum of 3-7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, showcasing your expertise in construction cost management.
  • Strong Knowledge of Construction Methods, Materials, and Industry Standards: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, applying your knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards to deliver exceptional results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Quantity Surveying Software (CSS) & BuildSmart: Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software, including CSS and BuildSmart.
  • Valid Driver's License and Own Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle, facilitating easy travel between project sites.
