Recon Clerk Job Description

Astor Motor Recruitment is seeking a skilled Recon Clerk to join their team at a top-performing and busiest dealership in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in recon or similar roles within a franchised motor dealership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inspections, estimates, quality control, inventory control, compliance, and other recon duties for approximately 25-30 vehicles per month.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of recon tasks, adhering to dealership standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve dealership goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Matric Certificate
  • A valid Drivers License
  • At least 1 year of recon or similar experience within a franchised motor dealership
  • A good eye for detail
  • Excellent organisational, admin, and communication skills
  • Ability to build good relationships with suppliers
  • A stable work history
  • Reliable and contactable references
