We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a key member of the culinary staff, you will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing stock levels, and training junior team members.

Responsibilities:
  1. Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and recipes, utilizing your strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
  2. Kitchen Operations: Oversee and manage the daily operations of a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Team Leadership: Train and supervise junior members of the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure success.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain stock levels, assist with ordering supplies, and adhere to all health and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to plan and execute menus, assisting with menu development and suggesting new dishes to enhance the dining experience for our guests.
Qualifications:
  1. Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a cruise ship or hotel setting.
  2. Culinary Education: Culinary degree or equivalent experience and training.
  3. Skill Set: Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines, ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and leadership skills, attention to detail, and valid food safety and hygiene certifications.
  4. Flexibility: Flexibility to work long hours and in a rotational schedule.
