We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Technology Specialist to assist our team in the installation and maintenance of security technology systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and collaborating with our maintenance and installation teams.



Key Responsibilities


  • Support the maintenance technician in daily tasks and ensure smooth operation of security technology systems.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and senior technicians to ensure seamless collaboration and resolve any technical issues.
  • Maintain strong relationships between Sibanye and GTSM employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Oversee and manage health and safety protocols on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.


Main Activities


  • Assist the maintenance technician in executing company procedures and protocols.
  • Support the technician in performing corrective and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Assist in managing vehicle fleet control and maintaining tools and equipment.
  • Identify system threats and report to the technician, ensuring timely resolution of any security issues.
