Job Description
As a Luxury Homeware Sales Specialist, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling premium retail products, ensuring customers receive exceptional service aligned with our branding standards. The position requires physical capability due to the handling of heavy rugs and furniture.
Main Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide tailored homeware solutions. Key duties include:
- Building and nurturing productive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met with suitable homeware solutions.
- Driving sales by actively promoting products, understanding customer preferences, and exceeding sales targets.
- Maintaining high standards of showroom presentation, ensuring products are displayed according to branding guidelines.
- Managing the ordering of additional products for the showroom to ensure a consistent and updated product range.
- Assisting fellow sales consultants in their tasks, contributing to a cohesive team environment.
- Supporting and facilitating the payment process, ensuring a seamless experience for customers.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Grade 12 qualification (Matric).
- At least 3 years of sales experience in a retail environment, particularly in Luxury Homeware or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on providing outstanding service.
- Sales-driven and self-motivated, with a strong ability to close sales.
- General business acumen with knowledge of the homeware industry is considered advantageous.
- The position involves physical tasks, including handling heavy rugs and furniture.
