Contract Management Specialist

As a Contract Administrator at Sibisi and Associates Ltd, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of contracts. Your primary responsibility will be to manage, review, and negotiate contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, vendor agreements, and client contracts. Maintain accurate records and ensure all documents are up-to-date. Monitor and manage contract deadlines and deliverables.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all contracts adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Contribute to the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal departments, such as legal, finance, procurement, and project management, to facilitate contract execution. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters. Provide guidance and training to staff on contract-related issues and company policies.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline contract management processes and implement best practices. Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices related to contract management. Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
• Programs: Raise any conditions that may be subject to different interpretation and clarify position with Management and/or customer, if necessary. Liaise with clients, management, suppliers, sales, procurement, and technical staff to ensure completion of the requirements and obligations of the contract in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
• Cost Control: Ensure expenditure committed is within agreed budget. Ensure orders on Sub-Contractors align with the Company's main contract without adding additional claims. Obtain formal approval for increased cost budgets prior to commitment if a cost overrun is unavoidable.
• Contractual Obligations: Ensure the company meets its contractual obligations. Be fully aware of commitments by carefully reviewing contract documents. Document all verbal commitments and maintain proper records.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
