Job Summary

Adidas South Africa is seeking a highly skilled Human Capital Compensation Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the full payroll function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll management, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and proactively while leading a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including setting timelines with key stakeholders, planning, directing, and coordinating work activities, workload, and distribution of responsibilities between payroll team members.
  • Process monthly payroll for both back office and retail employees on SAP using payroll checklists, managing retail hours and overtime from Eco-time systems, and running time evaluations for full-time and part-time payrolls.
  • Create bank payment files, encrypt them, and manage global payroll-related projects, including delivery, support, and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification and 5+ years' payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a people leader role, in a medium-large organisation.
  • SAP payroll experience is essential, accounting knowledge beneficial, and ability to work analytically and communicate effectively in English.
