We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Officer & Administrator to join our team at Unique Personnel (Pty) Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an organized system for all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) documentation.

  • Maintain accurate and consistent records of SHE documentation.
  • Scan, rename, and digitally store documents in a centralized location.
  • Create and manage folders for effective record-keeping and easy retrieval.
  • Input, capture, and organize legal and specified documentation/certificates into the Integrated Management System (IMS).

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in the mining industry, with a basic understanding of ISO 45001:2018 Safety Management System requirements. Proactive problem-solving skills and good administrative and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify unsafe conditions and acts.
  • Provide guidance on safety-related matters, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Conduct over-inspections on equipment, vehicles, and tools used daily.
  • Establish and obtain all relevant safety requirements from clients.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in the mining industry (Surface risk).
  • Experience with lifting equipment.
  • Basic understanding of ISO 45001:2018 Safety Management System requirements.
  • Proactive in problem-solving.
  • Good administrative and communication skills.
