Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing reservations and bookings for all our properties, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless booking experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Answering incoming reservation calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assisting guests with booking inquiries, room availability, rates, and packages.
  • Managing reservations and inputting bookings accurately into the system.
  • Communicating with hotel staff to coordinate special requests, room assignments, and guest preferences.
  • Providing guests with information about hotel amenities, policies, and procedures.
  • Handling cancellations, modifications, and re-bookings as needed.
  • Resolving any guest issues or concerns related to reservations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Working closely with the sales team to promote special offers, packages, and promotions.

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • A tertiary qualification in hospitality or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience as a Reservationist, Hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Knowledge of hotel booking systems, reservation procedures, and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reservation management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed.
  • Hospitality or travel industry experience is a plus.
