Job Description:
As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the Western Cape Government's human resources policies. Your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain evidence-based HR policies that align with legislation and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead the implementation of human resources policies that ensure compliance with labour laws and public service regulations.
  • Provide expert advisory services to senior leadership and key stakeholders on HR policy alignment and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Analyze data to inform HR policy development, anticipate workforce needs, and proactively adjust policies based on evidence and HR trends.

Requirements:
  • Masters' degree or higher qualification in Industrial Psychology, Labour Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in policy research, development, drafting, and implementation in large organisations or the Public Service.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of R 444 036 - R 532 602 per annum (Salary level 9).
  • Opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the Western Cape Government.
