About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Hutech Head Office. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of maintenance activities.
  • Reporting and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance activities, including reporting and analysis of maintenance metrics.
  • Financial Management: Manage and control maintenance budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and minimizing waste.
  • Policy and Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of organizational policies and strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: BSc ENG/BTech Degree/Advanced Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
  • Certifications: GCC Mine & Works Certificate of Competence.
  • Experience: 10 years plus in a maintenance production environment, with experience in Flotation, pumps, belt filters, and thickeners.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management: Essential experience in computerized maintenance management systems.
