We are seeking a highly experienced Store Food Department Manager to lead our fresh food operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales, managing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the fresh food, packaged, and prepared food sections to meet sales targets and maintain high product quality.
  • Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • At least 35 years of experience in food retail, including managing fresh food sections.
  • Proven ability to meet sales targets, manage teams, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Strong operational management skills, expertise in food safety compliance, and customer service excellence.
  • Matric/Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification are advantageous.
  • Certifications in food safety are a plus.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
