**Salary:** The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of R550,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

**Job Description:

The Skilled Tradesperson will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and mechanical systems to guarantee optimal performance and reliability. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and maximizing production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.

**Key Responsibilities:*

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs promptly.
• Ensure all repairs meet company and industry standards.
• Assemble, install, and align machinery and mechanical components as per specifications.
• Test and commission new installations to confirm proper functionality.

**Operational Efficiency:** Collaborate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime. Propose and implement efficiency improvement measures.

**Safety & Compliance:** Adhere to all health and safety regulations during maintenance and repair tasks. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

A Trade Certificate as a Fitter (NQF Level 4 or equivalent) is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing, engineering, or a related environment is essential. Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics is a must.

Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, experience with welding and machining are advantageous.

**Skills & Competencies:** Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are essential. Effective communication and teamwork abilities are also required. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality are a must.
