Hlabahlosile seeks a seasoned Artisan Fitter to join our team. This role requires extensive experience in heavy industrial fitting with a strong understanding of process operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Minimum requirement: Matric plus N4 in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting and completion of an apprenticeship in Mechanical Fitting/Fitter & Turner.
  • A recognized Trade Test certificate, Mechanical Fitting/Fitter & Turner.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in heavy industrial fitting.
  • Good knowledge and experience of process operations and maintenance of centrifugals, vacuum pumps, positive displacement pumps, screw conveyors, dryers, gearboxes, fans, and bucket elevators.
  • A good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • A specific knowledge of Rawhouse equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding/problem-solving skills.
  • A good understanding of condition-based monitoring and modern alignment.
  • Conversant with planned maintenance systems.
  • Bonus points for basic rigging and welding experience.
About the Job:
