Administrative Project Coordinator

The South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI) is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Project Coordinator to provide strategic support to Division-level matters.
This position requires a national diploma in Office Management, Public Administration, or equivalent qualification with 4 years of work experience in the relevant field. Alternatively, a degree in Office Management, Public Administration, or equivalent qualification with 2 years of work experience will be considered.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and organizing meetings, workshops, conferences, and travel arrangements;
- Coordinating procurement and claims for the division;
- Preparing meeting and workshop logistics;
- Performing administrative tasks to support other units within the division;
- Ensuring effective utilization of filing systems;
- Handling human resources, financial, and stakeholder relations matters;
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as advanced planning, organizing, and problem-solving abilities.
Candidates must also demonstrate ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and safety.
