Job Summary

As a Commissioning & Installations Manager at HR Genie, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering, combined with your project management skills, will enable you to effectively manage resources, coordinate operations, and maintain a strong customer relationship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Scope Management: Establish a thorough understanding of the project scope, including the mechanical, electrical, and IT departments' requirements.
  • Resource Allocation: Successfully manage and coordinate the allocation of resources to execute the project scope, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to company sign-offs.
  • Process Implementation: Develop and implement strategic processes and department structures to support the successful execution of project commissioning and installation phases.
  • Project Planning: Create detailed project plans, incorporating the electrical, mechanical, and IT departments' requirements, to ensure successful commissioning and installation.
  • Operations Management: Effectively manage and coordinate the process of operations within the project environment, considering delivery milestones and company sign-offs.
  • KPI Monitoring: Continuously monitor department KPIs, maintaining department wellness, staff safety, and adhering to company policies.
  • Quality Management: Support the HR Genie quality management system, ensuring compliance with company standards.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics, Project Management degree, and computer literacy.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the automation industry, with a comprehensive mechanical/electrical background and at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, Afrikaans, and German (advantageous).
  • Driver's License: Code 08 driver's license required.
