We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as Junior Financial Consultants. As a key member of our CFO services team, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients' financial operations and contributing to key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Client-Focused Accounting & CFO Support

  • Participate in CFO and accounting engagements for a diverse range of clients.
  • Review monthly management reports and provide forecasts.
  • Meet with clients to explain financial positions, assist with tax planning, and address queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of client budgets and track performance monthly.
  • Provide ad hoc assistance to clients in evaluating financial models.
  • Draft annual financial statements and assist with independent reviews under supervision.

Programme Support

  • Screen and identify suitable companies for fundraising projects.
  • Perform gap analyses to identify growth opportunities.
  • Assist in implementing strategic interventions for optimal fundraising strategies.
  • Build and evaluate financial models for client companies.
  • Support clients with due diligence and pitch preparation for fundraising rounds.

Administrative Duties

  • Update task statuses, complete time tracking, and manage priorities in Zoho.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of timesheets.
  • Maintain and update task planners, managing expectations for completion.
  • Attend internal CFO department meetings regularly.

SAICA Trainee Obligations

  • Ensure compliance with SAICA's training requirements, including evaluations and queries.
  • Complete Letters of Recommendation (LORs) monthly and Professional Development Summaries (PDS) every six months as per SAICA regulations.
