Nefcorp is seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our finance team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for coordinating financial operations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent analytical and organizational skills. You will work closely with our Management accountant to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, as well as providing support for audits and other financial activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate financial operations, including managing cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and trial balances
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- B Com Accounting (or equivalent)
The successful candidate will possess at least 2 years' experience in creditors/accounting related environment, with strong knowledge of reconciliations, bookkeeping, and creditors. Excellent analytical skills, ability to review and prepare journals, and prepare monthly reporting against budgets are essential.
Interaction with both internal and external audit, thorough knowledge of all procurement principles and practices, understanding of basic business principles, and ability to make innovative but rational decisions are also required.
Able to challenge payment/s if contrary to Regulations and policies, flexibility to handle erratic working hours, and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines are also essential.
