  • Operational Oversight: Direct daily operations, coordinating with human resources, legal, sales, marketing, manufacturing, accounting, IT, and other departments.

  • Leadership Development: Support other senior executives and employees, advising on promotions, recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.

  • Reporting and Communication: Report to the CEO about daily operations and plans for upcoming adjustments or developments in business operations strategy or company goals and objectives.
  • CEO Support: Stand in for the CEO if they are out of the office or otherwise engaged.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement policies for daily operations, and communicate these changes to department supervisors.
  • Alignment and Integration: Ensure alignment with current company policies and goals, including those created by the COO, CEO, and other executives.
Requirements
  • Education: Honours or MBA in Business Management.
  • Experience: 10 – 15 years of proven track record in an executive role within the Textile or Apparel Manufacturing industry.
  • Leadership and Management: Proven leadership and management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build strong, long-lasting relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
  • Business Acumen: Aptitude for identifying new areas for business growth and development.
  • Partnerships and Thought Leadership: Ability to establish and maintain partnerships and provide thought leadership.
  • Communication and Computer Literacy: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and high level of computer literacy.
  • Business Acumen and Analytical Skills: Strong business acumen with high analytical skills.
  • Organizational and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Pressure and Time Management: Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and meet deadlines.
  • Negotiation and Recruitment: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to monitor and evaluate new opportunities in the industry.
  • Team Management: Proven track record in recruiting and managing a high-functioning team.
