Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements to minimize financial risks.
  • Analyze financial data and present financial reports to senior management to inform strategic decisions.
  • Implement financial controls and monitor financial performance to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with department heads to develop financial strategies and improve efficiencies to drive business growth.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of the annual budget to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow and financial performance to ensure the company's financial stability.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to provide a solid foundation in financial principles.
  • CA(SA) or equivalent certification to demonstrate expertise in financial management.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Director or in a similar financial leadership role in the Construction Industry to showcase leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles to drive business growth.
  • Experience with financial reporting and analysis to provide accurate financial insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel to streamline financial processes.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex financial challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development to enhance the finance team's capabilities.
