About the Job

This permanent role involves controlling credit limits, applying for cover via CGIC, auditing price checking, establishing and controlling credit limits, instituting and maintaining credit control management policies, handling all credit applications, responsible for invoicing, following up on age analysis (debt collection), ensuring credit control policy is maintained and in place, liaising with attorneys regarding outstanding debt collection, following credit note request process, attending sales meetings, keeping customers on account list updated, keeping own risk customer list updated, and dealing with customer-related enquiries.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Controlling credit limits and applying for cover via CGIC
  • Auditing price checking
  • Establishing and controlling credit limits
  • Instituting and maintaining credit control management policies
  • Handling all credit applications
  • Responsible for invoicing
  • Follwing up on age analysis (debt collection)
  • Ensuring credit control policy is maintained and in place
  • Liaising with attorneys regarding outstanding debt collection
  • Follwing credit note request process
  • Attending sales meetings
  • Keeping customers on account list updated
  • Keeping own risk customer list updated
  • Dealing with customer-related enquiries

Requirements

We require a Grade 12 qualification and at least 4 years' experience in a debtors function (construction industry). You should have excellent communication skills, high level of numeracy and literacy, a strong personality, valid driver's license, and own transport. You must also have a clear criminal record, be a SA citizen, and have contactable work references. Proficiency in English and Afrikaans is required. Previous experience with CGIC is essential, and Lombards insurance experience is beneficial.
