We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Authorizations IT Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will provide first-line support for SAP authorizations across the group, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely resolution of SAP authorization support calls within agreed SLAs.
  • Administer authorization calls on CRM, ensuring efficient communication with stakeholders.
  • Manage SAP SharePoint Access requests and calls logged on CRM, creating new users, assigning access, and unlocking users as needed.
  • Develop and implement role testing in the QA system, including drafting test scripts for UAT, creating new tester profiles, and assigning access.
  • Troubleshoot SAP authorization errors, applying problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
  • Run SAP access and GRC reports as required, analyzing data to inform business decisions.
  • Raise requests for changes on SAP Solution Manager, streamlining processes and enhancing efficiency.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required by management, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to learning.

Requirements:

  • Possess a tertiary qualification in finance or IT, with a strong foundation in relevant fields.
  • Hold at least 3 years of SAP ABAP authorizations experience, with expertise in SAP objects and values in roles.
  • Have a deep understanding of different authorization strategies, including SAP courses on authorizations.
  • Be familiar with the SAP 3-tier landscape, with experience in other SAP applications/modules preferable.
  • SAP GRC experience is advantageous, while computer literacy in MS Office is essential.
  • A high degree of confidentiality, emotional maturity, and strong communication skills are critical for success.
  • High stress tolerance, precise planning, and exceptional accuracy are also necessary.
